We make our shutters in several types of wood, but mostly in solid pine-wood (we do not use glued wood). Why do we prefer pine-wood? In temperate climate pine in the least reacts for frequent and substantial shifts in humidity, sunlight and temperature. Beech, oak, mahogany and hard types of wood react in a much more aggresive way, hence the risk of fracturing is higher. Usage of advanced pine seasoning technology makes pine's quality no worse than that of mahogany's and it is much cheaper.
Wood for our shutters is prepared on the latest generation wood processing machines, after having been carefully dried and selected by master carpenters with tens-of-years experience. Polishing has two stages, the first using machines, while the final finish is applied by hand. Constant air humidity (10-15%) during production process is a significant factor.
Finally, the processed wood becomes impregnated using the immersion method.
